The National Forest Cycle Centre Taster Day

The team here at Cycling Projects is getting ready to travel to Hicks Lodge, Moira, Leicester next week to support their first disability cycling taster day for SEN schools and adult care groups.

Working with CTC Bike Club and The National Forest we will takea range of adapted cycles especially for use on the day, allowing people to try out the cycles on the specially designed tracks that are suitable for all types of bikes.

The session will run from 10am – 3pm and will be geared towards disabled people and those with differing needs. Everyone is welcome to come along and try out the adapted cycles and see the different varieties Hicks Lodge will soon be offering on a more regular basis. With eight miles of new off-read cycling trails, a bike hire shop, visitor centre and a café, Hicks Lodge really has something for everyone!

We had a great turn out on the grand opening day, we are sure this taster day will be as great a success and show how much people want this new facility.

We hope to see you there!
