Spooky Halloween Cycle

This Halloween we saw Preston On Wheels (POW - Cycling Project) team hosting fancy dress spooky rides in the local area!

There was a great turn out of children, adults and parents all in fancy dress taking part in: Mummy cycle relays, finding spiders in goo, fancy dress laps and throughout the cycle, riders had to find the body parts of Freda the skeleton!!

With nutritionist demon jelly and blood juice drink supplied by Rachel Wilkinson from Sport and Health Nutrition Team and Park Ranger, Paul Lampkin assisting with activities dressed as a werewolf, everyone really embraced the Halloween spirit.

Yvonne (POW Project Co-ordinator) made ‘no bones,’ about how well the POW team did with delivery of such an action packed 2 hour session for the local communities in the Deep dale area. Charlotte- spider princess; Rick Johnston- Jack Sparrow were also on hand to keep everyone active on their bikes!!
