Liverpool Wheels for All
Liverpool Wheels for all has been running since July 2010, recently securing funding for 2011!
Initially the project was funded by Liverpool Aiming High for Disabled Children (AHDC), through the success of the programme Liverpool City Council has continued to fund the project in 2011.
Aimed at individuals, groups and families who are unable to ride a two wheeled cycle due to a physical and/or learning difficulty, in a safe, traffic free environment. Through the use of adapted cycles cycling projects hopes to make cycling accessible to all. We currently have three sites across the city, Greenbank Sports Academy, Wavertree Sports Park, and Walton Hall Park.
Also in Liverpool, The Cycle for Health project is currently running, which encourages people in Liverpool to become physically active through cycling.
